PACEY BLINDERS RUN RIOT AS SIX-GOAL MASTERCLASS ENDS BEEPELONA’S STREAK

Week 13 of the Sunday Premier League Season 17 saw four out of the eight Division 2 teams in action, with goals flowing freely across two entertaining fixtures that delivered both dominance and late drama. Beepelona FC’s impressive two match winning run came to an abrupt end as Pacey Blinders FC produced a ruthless attacking display to secure a 6-2 victory. It was Beepelona who struck first through Khairul Rahmat in the 15th minute, but that only sparked Pacey into life. Led by the in form Brandon Thio, who completed a superb hat trick by the 32nd minute, Pacey Blinders turned the game on its head in devastating fashion. Khaw Relph added a fine strike of his own as Pacey raced into a 4-1 lead inside the opening half hour. Khairul Rahmat grabbed his second of the game to reduce the deficit to 4-2 heading into the break, offering Beepelona a glimmer of hope. However, any hopes of a comeback were quickly extinguished in the second half. Khaw Relph added his second in the 58th minute before Ridhwan Zahid rounded off the scoring in the 68th minute, sealing a comprehensive win for Pacey Blinders. In the second fixture, Fajar Youngsters and Kamikaze MMXV played out a pulsating 2-2 draw in a game that ebbed and flowed until the final whistle. Kamikaze took the lead in the 25th minute through Mustaq Ahmad, heading into half-time with a slender advantage. Fajar responded in the second half when Farhan Hairoddin found the equaliser in the 65th minute. The lead changed hands once again just two minutes later as B. Kaviraj restored Kamikaze’s advantage. But Fajar refused to back down, and Farhan Hairoddin struck again five minutes from time to earn his side a well deserved share of the spoils. Standout performances came from B. Kaviraj for Kamikaze MMXV and Farhan Hairoddin for Fajar Youngsters, both playing pivotal roles in an absorbing contest.
