CHIN FC CONTINUE HOT STREAK WITH COMMANDING WIN OVER RULANG

Week 9 of the Sunday Premier League saw just two of the eight Division 1 teams in action, with a solitary fixture taking place at Woodlands Secondary School. Despite the reduced schedule, fans were treated to a clinical and dominant display from Chin FC, who continued their strong run of form with a convincing 4–1 victory over Rulang FC. Coming off the back of their statement win against league leaders Druzhba United, Chin FC wasted no time in asserting control. Thian Fam Kim, who was later named Man of the Match, opened the scoring in just the fifth minute with a composed finish. Barely a minute later, Zoh Hming Sanga doubled the lead, catching the Rulang defence cold in a blistering start. Chin maintained their attacking momentum, and Zoh grabbed his second of the game in the 28th minute to make it 3–0. Rulang FC showed signs of life before the break, pulling one back through Darwys Bhari in the 37th minute to head into half-time trailing 3–1. The away side came out with renewed urgency in the second half and pushed forward in search of a comeback, but Chin remained organised at the back and dangerous on the counter. As Rulang committed bodies forward, Chin sealed the result late on when Laltlanliana found the net in the 78th minute, putting the game beyond doubt. It was another polished performance from Chin FC, who are quickly building momentum in the league. Despite the defeat, there were positives for Rulang FC, with Noor Ilfan Syadudin and Daniel Hanif putting in strong individual displays and working tirelessly throughout the match. The result sees Chin FC climb up to fourth place in the standings, leapfrogging Rulang FC, who drop to sixth as the battle for positions intensifies.
