BEEPELONA FC CONTINUE FAIRYTALE RUN WITH EMPHATIC AWAY WIN

7 December 2025

Week 9 of the Sunday Premier League Season 17 saw another quiet round of Division 2 fixtures, with only one match played as teams continued to utilise their Block Out dates. Out of the eight teams in the division, just two were in action, but the result had significant implications for the league standings. Fresh off their first win of the season, Beepelona FC travelled to Clementi Town Secondary to face Fajar Youngsters, who had endured an inconsistent start with one win, two draws, and one defeat. On paper, Fajar looked favourites to edge the contest, but once again, the football gods were smiling on Beepelona FC. The visitors came flying out of the blocks and took control early in the game. Within the opening 30 minutes, Beepelona surged into a commanding 3-0 lead. Mikhail Shariff opened the scoring before Jamalul Ariffin doubled the advantage. Khairul Rahmat then added a third to cap off a clinical first-half display. Fajar struggled to cope with Beepelona’s intensity and direct attacking play as the away side carried their lead comfortably into the break. Fajar Youngsters attempted to mount a response in the second half and were given a glimmer of hope when Muhammad Nasruddin pulled one back in the 69th minute. However, Beepelona remained composed and disciplined, limiting further chances while continuing to threaten on the counter. Just as the game looked to be winding down, Iqmal Danial put the result beyond doubt with a late strike a minute from full time, sealing a convincing 4-1 victory for Beepelona FC. The win marks back-to-back victories for Beepelona and completes a remarkable turnaround, as they climb from the bottom of the table to third place in the standings. Momentum is now firmly on their side as the season enters a crucial phase.
